1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Repair Receipts (the “Platform”), you agree to these Product Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including individual shop owners, businesses, and their employees.

2. What the Platform Does

Repair Receipts is a digital invoicing and receipt platform designed for auto repair shops. The Platform helps you:

• Create and manage repair invoices and estimates
• Track customers and their vehicles
• Send service reminders via SMS
• Use AI to generate line item descriptions
• Look up vehicle data (year, make, model, engine)
• Manage your shop's workflow and repair orders

The Platform is a business tool — it is not a substitute for professional accounting or legal advice.

3. Eligibility & Registration

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms
• Provide accurate registration information

You are responsible for keeping your account information current and your login credentials secure.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Platform to:

• Create invoices, estimates, and receipts for legitimate repair work
• Manage your customer and vehicle records
• Send service reminders to your customers

You may not:

• Generate fraudulent invoices or receipts
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data or tamper with the Platform
• Resell or redistribute the Platform without permission

5. Your Account

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including:

• Keeping your password secure
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• Actions taken by anyone you give access to

Do not share your login credentials. If your team needs access, add them as users through the Platform.

6. Your Data

You own the data you put into the Platform — your invoices, customer records, vehicle information, and uploaded files. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data to provide the service.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Platform, but we will never share your identifiable business data without your consent.

7. AI Features

The Platform includes optional AI-powered features, such as generating descriptions for invoice line items. When you use these features:

• Relevant data is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing
• AI output is a suggestion — always review before saving
• AI results may not always be accurate or complete
• These features are optional and only run when you trigger them

8. Accuracy & Your Responsibility

The Platform helps you create professional invoices and manage your shop, but you are responsible for the accuracy of your invoices, estimates, and customer communications.

Vehicle data lookups and AI-generated content are provided as conveniences. Always verify important details before sending documents to customers.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times, but it may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Unexpected technical issues
• Third-party service outages

Your subscription plan may include limits on the number of invoices, customers, or SMS messages.

10. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Platform for illegal activity.

On termination, your access ends immediately. You can request a data export before deleting your account. Any outstanding subscription fees remain due.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
• AI-generated content will be accurate
• Vehicle data lookups will always return correct results

The Platform is not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, or tax advice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
