We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. Invoice and financial data is typically retained for 7 years for tax purposes.

• Row-level security on all database tables

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage

• OpenAI — AI-powered features (e.g., generating line item descriptions)
• Twilio — SMS notifications and service reminders

These providers only access the data they need to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

8. AI Features

We use AI (via OpenAI) to help generate descriptions for invoice line items. When you use this feature, the relevant line item data is sent to OpenAI for processing.

• AI-generated content is suggestions only — you review and edit before saving
• We do not use your data to train AI models
• AI processing is optional and only triggered when you request it

9. Payment Information

• Subscription payments are handled by Stripe
• We never store your full credit card number
• Stripe is PCI DSS compliant
• We only store payment confirmation details and billing history

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you additional rights:

• Right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Right to request deletion of your personal information
